Shipments are automatically offered to carriers in least-cost order according to your service-based routing guides. Carriers are notified in order (over the internet, and by email, pager, or cell phone according to their preferences), with the carrier audience expanding over time until the load is covered. Exception conditions can be pre-configured to expedite coverage, such as offering the load simultaneously to a number of similarly-priced carriers. Transportation managers can monitor coverage online, handling exceptions rather than finding carriers.
