Using tight schedule control to improve facility efficiency
- CarrierPoint’s DockMaster provides a new level of control over loading/unloading schedules. Through a combination of loader/unloader performance measurement against standard, and carrier performance measurement, schedules can be re-configured dynamically to increase throughput or reduce labor expenses. In addition, through daily dynamic scheduling, appointments can be ‘clustered’ around certain times of day, allowing appointments at the beginning or end of the day to be used only when necessary based on shipment volume.
