CarrierPoint SelecTender is where shippers and carriers directly communicate prices, make commitments, and share information in a secure, real-time environment. SelecTender provides a completely automated tendering environment, providing configurable tendering templates based on least-cost, relative cost, carrier commitments, or overall preference, or any combination, to be sure loads are covered quickly and with the right carrier – all in a ‘touch-free’ environment.

SelecTender also provides a new level of customer service. Customer Service personnel can be provided detailed delivery confirmation information, or can be notified if the carrier has not provided confirmation within a certain timeframe. This can all be routed according to the facility, customer, or vendor, to certain customer service personnel to be sure the appropriate parties are involved in resolving any issues.

Exception Notification: SelecTender’s ActiveTrack feature ensures that the right people are notified when something is wrong, whether it is a Dispatcher, a Customer Service rep that is responsible for a major account, or a customer. Notifications can be automatically triggered for events such as “Missed Appointment”, “Load Not Covered”, or “Delivery Confirmation not received from carrier”, as well as many others, based on user preferences.
